Collin Kather
- Doctoral Student
Fascinated by the intersection of health behavior, communication, policy, and management, Collin Kather is dedicated to making large healthcare organizations more efficient to improve patient outcomes.
Collin is a first-year doctoral student at the Annenberg School for Communication. He is interested in health communication, health behavior, health policy, and how large healthcare organizations interact with their constituencies. He’ll be working with the Addiction, Health, and Adolescence (AHA!) Lab.
His professional background includes 8 years in academic clinical research, as well as various experiences in marketing, media production, and information technology. He has served in various research capacities for the University of Pennsylvania, including: the Rehabilitation Robotics Lab, Penn Dermatology, the Center for Health Behavior Research, and Penn Dental Medicine.
He earned both his M.P.A. and his MPH from the University of Pennsylvania Fels Institute of Government and Perelman School of Medicine, respectively, and his B.A. from Hunter College.
Originally from New York, Collin currently lives in New Jersey by way of Pennsylvania. In his free time, he enjoys city walking, narrative journalism, and roasting coffee beans.
