Community, Inclusion, and Culture at Annenberg
The Annenberg School for Communication is committed to creating an open and inclusive environment that values the unique contributions of every member of our community, including those of our students, faculty, staff, and researchers. These individual perspectives and experiences make up the fabric of Annenberg as an institution.
We recognize that fostering an inclusive environment is a continuous process that requires balancing different and sometimes conflicting points of view. As a school of communication that studies diverse topics, we understand that such dialogues pave the path toward thoughtful understanding—a duty we embrace wholeheartedly.
We welcome ongoing conversations among our community on how best to enhance and improve our collective sense of belonging here at Annenberg, including but not limited to open forum meetings with our dean, voluntary surveys, and representation across various councils and committees.
As we continue on this journey, we remain steadfast in our dedication to nurturing understanding, empathy, and respect for all perspectives, ensuring that our collective pursuit of knowledge fosters a more inclusive environment within our school community and also contributes to the broader discourse on vital issues facing society.
