Neil Hickey papers

The Neil Hickey papers (1964-2009) document Hickey’s thirty-year tenure as New York bureau chief at TV Guide, and his eight years as an editor and writer for the Columbia Journalism Review. Materials include: books, background research and notes, speeches, articles, tear sheets, and reprints.

Alexander Kendrick Collection

Alexander Kendrick (1910-1991) was a journalist, foreign correspondent, author, and radio and television reporter affiliated with The Public LedgerThe Philadelphia Inquirer, and Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS). He is best known for his reporting of international events in World War II and postwar years. The Alexander Kendrick papers comprise radio broadcast and television typescripts, correspondence, contracts, edited book typescripts, book research notes, clippings, long-playing records, and photographs.

 

Gail Cameron Wescott Collection

Gail Cameron Wescott was an American author and journalist who is known for her work with several American magazines, including Life, Time, and People. Her work with Life magazine and other mid-century publications provide a woman’s perspective into an industry that was typically dominated by men journalists and her papers document her career as a journalist. The Gail Cameron Wescott papers comprise research and writings for Life and People magazines, as well as Ladies’ Home Journal, McCall’s, and several other publications; correspondence, drafts, photographs, scrapbooks, printed materials, tapes and notebooks of interviews.  The Gail Cameron Wescott papers are being processed and are not currently open for research.
