Undergraduate Perspectives: Media Research & Practice in Contentious Times
- Annenberg School for Communication Room 500
Join us to celebrate the University of Pennsylvania's award winning student journalists and hear presentations from undergrad researchers!
This past year, Penn student journalists received numerous collegiate awards for their coverage of campus unrest, while also conducting innovative research at the intersections of media, activism and press freedom. This event brings together undergraduate journalists and researchers to discuss these dynamics as they emerge on digital platforms and on campus. The discussion will be led by the Center for Media at Risk’s undergraduate fellows, Naima Small and Anna Vazhaeparambil, who will share their research findings in conversation with journalists from The Daily Pennsylvanian.
