Annenberg's Klaus Krippendorff contributes to new book

Klaus Krippendorff, Ph.D., the Gregory Bateson Professor of Communication, contributed a chapter titled  "Designing In Ulm and off Ulm" in HfG, Ulm; Die Abteilung Produktgestaltung; 39 Rückblicke (edited by Karl-Achim Czemper). The book consists of accounts by former students of the avant-garde design school in Ulm, Germany, 1953-1968. To complement the increased scholarly interest in the pedagogical and design theoretical contributions that this unusual university's made internationally, the editor collected accounts of those who were there. Former students evaluate their experiences, tell stories of what happened there, and what they took with them all over the world. Professor Krippendorff studied there between 1956-1961.
